November 25th AACA Luncheon

Our featured guest speaker on November 25th will be Christine Klein, AAE, Deputy Commissioner - Aviation.
Christine is an accredited airport executive and recieved National Aviation Industry Honors in 2000 for airport program development efforts in planning, design, and construction. She is the 1st Alaskan to recieve the distinguished Jay Hollingsworth Speas National Airport Award given by the aviation industry.
Christine is also currently the Acting Airport Director for ANC until the position is filled.
Deputy Commissioner Christine Klein will be giving an overview of Statewide Aviation issues and discussing the Alaska Aviation System Plan (AASP).
The AASP is a statewide look at Alaska's system of airports and will include identifying airport needs and improvements, postal hubs and maintenance & operations. Attend this meeting and learn more about the project and provide your important comments and suggestions.
And just as a reminder our location has changed to better fit the industry and our association. Our new home - the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum is located just off of Lake Hood - you can't miss it. Just look for the Alaska Airline 737-200QC parked by the lake.
