October 27 Luncheon with Alaska Airlines

Join the Air Cargo Association Ocotber luncheon along with guest speaker Joe Sprague of Alaska Airlines. Just reading Joe's bio say's it all. Join us as we hear about Alaska Airlines and where they are headed in the Air Cargo Industry. There may even be a couple of suprise tickets given away!!!

Joe Sprague serves as Vice President of Cargo for Alaska Airlines and leads the company’s air freight unit, Alaska Air Cargo.
Previously, Sprague was staff vice president of inflight services for Alaska Airlines where he oversaw the airline’s inflight operations and its more than 2,700 flight attendants.
   Prior to that, Sprague was staff vice president of public and government affairs, where he led community relations, corporate communications and government affairs. Earlier, he opened and managed the carrier’s government affairs office in Washington, D.C. as managing director of government affairs.
   Sprague also served as the airline’s director of sales for the state of Alaska.
   Prior to Alaska Airlines, Sprague was director of marketing for Era Aviation and general manager of the Era Aviation Center in Anchorage and before that was vice president of marketing and customer service for Harbor Airlines of Washington. He also served as manager of government and industry affairs for the D.C.-based National Air Transport Association, serving the interest of 2,000 aviation businesses.
   Sprague has served as a corporate pilot, commuter airline pilot and flight instructor. He has also taught as an adjunct instructor of airline management for the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
   Sprague holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from the University of Washington. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife, Jennifer, and their two young children.
